JUST LOOKING
An interactive installation by Susan Hensel
A unique installation will cast its glow on the walls of the Susan Hensel Gallery in South Minneapolis this August.
“Just Looking,” a mix of traditional media, projection, and live video is a project that’s been in process by the gallery’s owner and
resident artist
over the past three years will run August 8-29.
The opening participation event ocurred on August 8th from 5 to 9 p.m. Viewers were invited to tip-toe on the line between viewing and becoming a part of the experience.
The interactive video was designed by John Hensel, using Isadora software. In the back area of the gallery you can see his photographic installation titled EYES.
Appointments are still being taken to see the show through August 29.
An artists and friends potluck will happen, Wednesday, August27, from 5-9pm. A somewhat different version of the show will be playing during the event. Local artists have been invited to show their work during the potluck. So, do come by and see it all and share a good meal.
