As of June 1st, 2010, the gallery is temporarily closed while Susan enjoys a six-month sabbatical. Using this time to concentrate on her own studio art practice, as well as research and travel, the gallery will not host any formal exhibitions until January of 2011. The gallery will re-open with a show by Dean Ebben entitled, In the House of the Mineral Spirits.
Although the gallery will be quiet, it will not be silent! We plan to host some events over the course of the Sabbatical, including the new South Minneapolis Wild Wool Market, happening on June 26 and July 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. South Minneapolis Wild Wool Market is a small and casual retail event of wool and textile goods made by local artists. If you'd like to participate as a seller in one of the upcoming Wild Wool Market dates, please email Susan directly to reserve a space.
The gallery will be maintaining regular Monday hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and plans to host other sporadic events throughout the six-month period. So, feel free to drop by and see what's brewing! The gallery will also remain available during the sabbatical as a space for community functions.
